Effective 22 September 2026. Pequet aims to make editorial material usable by people with different abilities and devices.
1. Commitment
We work toward clear structure, sufficient contrast, descriptive alternative text, keyboard access, readable language, and responsive layouts. Accessibility is considered during publication and correction.
2. Content structure
Pages use headings in a meaningful order, semantic navigation, labeled controls, and visible focus where practical. Tables are reserved for comparative information and are written with descriptive headers.
3. Images
Editorial images include descriptive alternative text where the image conveys information. Decorative context is kept brief. Text is not placed inside images as the only way to understand a message.
4. Keyboard use
Interactive links, buttons, forms, details elements, and cookie controls are intended to be reachable with a keyboard. If you encounter a focus trap or unavailable control, please report the URL.
5. Color
We use dark text on light surfaces and light text on dark bands. Color is not intended to be the sole signal of meaning. Some user settings or displays may still affect contrast.
6. Language
Pequet publishes in English and avoids unnecessary jargon where possible. The glossary provides additional definitions. Readers may request clarification of a technical passage.
7. Assistive technology
Modern browsers and screen readers should interpret the page structure, though combinations vary. We test common responsive states and correct issues that can be reproduced.
8. Documents
If a linked document is difficult to access, contact us and identify the title and page. We will consider an accessible alternative or provide the relevant information in another format.
